2025 Avalon - RTP Team League @ Northpoint - Wednesday

More Info
More Info

RTP Team Pickleball is a unique style of competition where teams of four players (open gender) compete against each other in a fun and social format with twists on your traditional play. Coordinated team outfits or colours are HIGHLY encouraged.

Each week, teams will compete in one match consisting of 6 x 12-minute games. Players will take turn partnering with every player on their team. The order in which players play and who their partner is, is determined by their skill level (See our rules page for more details). While two players from your team are playing, the other two players from your team are engaged and cheering from the bench. This team format of pickleball is energetic, incredibly social, and closely mimics the new "Major League Pickleball" being played across the US (just google it!).

This league is expanding for Winter 2025 - 12 teams will be accepted.

Matches will take place in a 90-minute block which includes time for warm-up, 6 games, game tie-breakers (if necessary), water breaks, and strategy.

Participants are required to bring their own paddles, while RTP will provide the balls, and nets.

To ensure fair and competitive play, participants should adhere to the skill level criteria.

Intermediate +: You’re a seasoned player and have a strong skill set. You can consistently execute advanced shots like drops and smashes and use tactics to outplay your opponents. You thrive in high-pressure situations and you’re always looking to challenge yourself against top players.
